PROBLEM

    Perarne  Johansson  found  following.   Any  server  running Sun's
    Hotspot VM  is exposed  to the  following bug  that will crash the
    webserver.  If you access

        www.myserver.com/servlet/[

    Also

        www.myserver.com/servlet/[foobar

    will do the  same.  The  server will crash  and die.   Here is the
    error message:

        #
        # Error ID: 4649454C44345950450E4350500026

    This will crash both Jrun and ServletExec and IIS 4 and 5.

SOLUTION

    Bug has been confirmed by Sun as a new bug and is scheduled to  be
    fixed (Bug Id: 4254559).
